The lush lawns, surrounded by indigenous trees and beautifully landscaped gardens, offer a serene atmosphere. The campsite is enveloped by the picturesque lakeshore and breathtaking panoramic views of the lake. The shared ablution block facilities include solar geyser showers, flushing toilets, and a washing and preparation area. The campsite area has braai facilities and picnic benches along the lakeshore for guests to enjoy the peaceful sights and sounds of the Lake.

For added convenience, Romelda Campsite provides three pre-assembled safari tents that are ideal for those seeking a luxurious camping experience. Equipped with beds, linen, solar lighting, and cupboards/drawers, the tents offer a unique way to camp in style. Guests have access to shared ablution facilities and other camping amenities.
We have ample parking space available for 4X4 vehicles, camper vans, and expedition trucks, including boat trailers and other bulky vehicles.

GLAMPING
Glamp : a form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those
associated with traditional camping.

Nestled within the campsite are three well-appointed "glamping" tents, the Safari-style Meru tents offer breathtaking views of the lake. Each tent is furnished with a double bed, a single bed, and a day bed that can be converted into an extra bed for a child. Additionally, the tents are equipped with small wardrobes for extra storage of personal items, solar fans, and two small solar lights to keep you comfortable.
