Whilst most tourism to the area has been abandoned, the beauty of the Glenlivet mountains, tranquillity of Lake Kyle and heritage of Great Zimbabwe, is all worth visiting.

With many activities to do; fishing, hiking, game viewing or a visit to the cultural sites, Masvingo can be an adventurous, relaxing or active getaway!

The perfect place to get out of your day-to-day routine and just relax. The Lodge is private use only so that you don't have to worry about whom you share your downtime with.

The lodge is made up of 6 semi-equipped tents and a fully equipped main area - which includes a kitchen, dining area, bar and plunge pool all overlooking the placid lake.

With staff available to clean your tent, prepare your food and help out with any boating/fishing activities your needs are catered for during your stay.

Designed with comfort and function in mind, the tents are each attached to a shower, toilet and basin bathroom at the back and a beautiful teak deck at the front.

The tents are made of high-quality canvas. Well insulated and relatively soundproof, the tents are private whilst still being open and well ventilated.

Romelda is a family-owned private property that has been in the same family for over 40 years. Recently, the property has been developed to offer lodging facilities to those who would like to enjoy the tranquillity and peace of Lake Kyle.

With sunsets that will take your breath away, beautifully manicured gardens with mostly indigenous plants, and a small-scale tree plantation. The relaxing and calming environment is perfect for taking in the fresh air, rejuvenating your spirit, and an ultimate retreat from daily life.
